We made the call to spin out fydark.com because image work is one of those quiet, daily, format-and-size-and-quality kinds of jobs that almost every web team does and almost nobody has a polished workflow for. TinyPNG owns the compression niche. Squoosh owns the codec-curious. Photopea owns the Photoshop-replacement crowd. FyDark is for the rest — the people who want a tasteful default, sensible recipes, and a workflow that chains cleanly from compress to convert to resize to masks without re-uploading the same file four times.

Same team, same architecture, same pricing as the rest of FyTools. The 'darkroom' in the name is metaphor — for the careful, considered, finished-export work that a darkroom implies — not the UI surface. Most of the toolkit runs entirely in your browser; the cloud features such as FyAI assists and very large batches are clearly labelled.
